We are a team that believes waste is not the end. We brought together the Czech glassmaking tradition with modern research and created a material that makes sense.
Born from Research at the Technical University of Liberec.
The Glassticine material is the result of long-term cooperation between Glassiteca and the Technical University of Liberec. The patented technology transforms waste glass into a mouldable porous material with properties no other material on the market has offered so far.
From the first prototypes in the labs we have travelled the road to real installations in the streets of Czech cities. Each new project moves us closer to our vision: a glassmaking industry that gives waste a second life.

From 2030 Czechia will enforce a landfill ban on recyclable waste. Our mission is to transform the millions of tons of glass that end up in the ground into a useful construction and growing material. Glassticine is our answer.
